Popis: The article analyzes the factors that have a significant impact on labor migration. The tendencies of migration movement of the population of Ukraine by means of statistical methods of research are considered. It is estimated that Ukrainian labor migration today is about 8 million people, but only 500,000 citizens have an official work permit. The main reasons for forcing Ukrainians to go abroad have been identified, including: income inequality; the difficulty of obtaining the necessary level of wages to support the family; the possibility of better earnings abroad; obtaining the proper quality of education. It is established that migration processes in terms of content, causes and consequences have different sources of origin and forms of manifestation, are studied in different contexts and at different levels. The dynamics of indicators of Ukrainians leaving abroad is systematized. The paper reflects the correlation of the labor market and labor migration, which are calculated using the coefficients of migration load per thousand people of working age, the effectiveness of migration, the tension in the labor market. In this article, based on correlation-regression analysis, the relationship between socio-economic factors that represent migratory ejection factors is investigated. It was found that during the COVID-19 pandemic, a large number of the population lost their jobs, and revenues from abroad and the country's GDP decreased. The article analyzes the labor market by the number of economically active population, employed and unemployed, the average number of full-time employees, the average monthly wage. The positive and negative consequences of the impact of migration on the economic condition of Ukraine are reflected. The problems of the Ukrainian labor market are highlighted, which affect not only the quantity, quality of labor, labor productivity, but also make Ukraine's economy dependent on the volume of remittances.
