Popis: | The reaction NO{sub 3} + NO{sub 2} {yields} NO + NO{sub 2} + O{sub 2} is used to determine the temperature dependence of the [NO]/[NO{sub 2}] ratio in N{sub 2}O{sub 5}/NO{sub 2}/N{sub 2} gas mixtures. The [NO]/[NO{sub 2}] rate coefficients equal k{sub 1}/k{sub 2}, which equals 3.3 x 10{sup -3} exp (-1598/T). From this experiment, the calculated value of k{sub 1} is in the low end of the determinations reported in available literature. |
