Popis: | 35th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition; 483-487 The purpose of the work is the mathematical modeling of electromagnetic stirring of silicon melt using COMSOL Multiphysics software. In the calculations, the silicon stirring under the action of a traveling magnetic field are considered for 2D and 3D models. Using the model, distributions of the Lorentz force in silicon melt and the velocity fields of the melt movement under various conditions of electromagnetic stirring are obtained. The interrelation between electromagnetic stirring parameters and the rate of surface mass transfer is established. |
