Popis: The paper proposes an assessment method for safe stress in the kinetic concept of strength based on the warm-up drift technique in the model of a steady state with a broken bond. The authors added molecular interaction potential with a second potential energy minimum that corresponds to an excited molecule with broken bonds with its neighbors. The quasi-homogenous fracture model with using macro-values of a continuum has yielded that safe stress for metals and salts equals 10–20 % of their temporal tensile strength.
