Popis: | Necrotizing fasciitis is a deadly necrotic inflammation of skin, subcutaneous tissues, and muscle bundles. We describe a case of necrotizing fasciitis by Aeromonas hydrophila in an immunocompetent adult host. Although rare, the associated mortality is as high as 60–75%. |
