The auxiliary braking systems of vehicles of category M1, installed from the factory and affecting deceleration, are considered. Comparison of the results of steady-state deceleration on dry asphalt concrete pavement at an air temperature of +17 ± 0,5°C will be carried out. For further experimental studies, factors and systems will be identified. Studies have shown that auxiliary systems affect the stability of deceleration and its magnitude. Comparison of vehicle deceleration with different blocks of auxiliary systems is made. The influence of developing auxiliary systems allows for a shorter braking distance, improved braking stability and an increased deceleration value.
