Popis: | High-temperature ceramic adsorbents Li2ZrO3, Li4SiO4, and CaSiO3 supported on SiO2, TiO2, and SiC are synthesized. An X-ray diffraction analysis is performed and the behavior of the adsorbents in the absorption of CO2 is studied. It is shown that the adsorbents supported on silicon and titanium dioxides react vigorously with carriers and are destroyed with the formation of the corresponding spinels during thermal pretreatment. It is established that the adsorption ability of such systems is almost completely lost. At the same time, zirconates and silicates deposited on silicon carbide barely react with the carrier and retain a considerable dynamic adsorption capacity with respect to CO2; these systems are characterized by an increased rate of adsorption and restore the original absorption capacity after regeneration. |
