Popis: | A technique for coating small three-dimensional objects with molecular sieves using pulsed laser deposition (PLD) has been developed. Oriented UTD-1 zeolite films have been prepared on the surface of glass and steel beads by first vibrating the spheres in a laser-generated plume. The PLD film was subjected to a post-hydrothermal treatment resulting in a well-adhered highly crystalline UTD-1 film. The UTD-1 crystals are oriented so that the one-dimensional channels are normal to the substrate surface. |
