Popis: | Niobium doped LTO (Li4-xTi5-xNbxO12, X = 0 and 0.05) was synthesized from the solid- state reaction route calcined at 850 °C for 16 h. The effect of doping on the crystal structure and morphology was investigated. It concluded that Nb5 + ions do not change the cubic spinel nature of the Li4Ti5O12. The morphological features of the powder materials are in the range of 1–1.2 μm. The FTIR spectra shows that the oxide lattice structure comprises of MO6 (M = Li, Ti, Nb) tetrahedra and octahedra confirm the presence of structure of the spinel class. The electrical data dependent on frequency were used to study the conductivity mechanism. However, the Nb0.05LTO seems to be stable and maintain higher electronic conductivity than pure LTO at ambient temperature. |
