Popis:	The article presents the results of the comparative empirical study of satisfaction of life quality at a late age regarding the people with different types of professional occupation. The correlations of satisfaction of life quality and individual characteristics of working pensioners, non­working pensioners and persons of pre­retirement age were identified. Other results show the role of general, intellectual and psychomotor activity as a predictor of life satisfaction.
