Popis: | A theoretical investigation into the potential energy savings by the optimization of robot motion acceleration profiles, has been presented. The investigation is restricted to motion profiles that do not alter the motion time, so that neither is new equipment required nor are production cycle times altered. Example cases show that simple principles can lead to improved motions with considerable energy gains that have an impact on the energy cost of an automated manufacturing plant. |
