Popis:	Psychologists and anthropologists state that we use stories to understand the world and to build and communicate our identity as a community. Businesses and media have rediscovered the power of storytelling. Christians have been telling, translating, and dramatizing Bible stories for millennia. Some people advocate reciting the Scripture and deviating very little from the original text. Others promote crafting stories, using image-creating techniques that draw the audience into the text and help them understand how it relates to their lives. In this article, I claim that the wisdom gleaned from ancient practices shows a place for both types of storytelling.
