Popis: The compatibility of 04X16H11M3T austenitic steel and 05X12H2M ferrite-martensite steel with eutectic 17Li-83Pb at 773, 673 and 593 K and circulation with 0.5 and 1.5 m/s velocities has been investigated. The experiment time was 3000 hours. The 04X16H11M3T steel specimens have been investigated both in unstressed and stressed conditions. As a result of investigations the porous ferritic layer was not detected in 04X16H11M3T steel specimens. The significant effect of eutectic velocity on structural materials corrosion resistance has been shown. The stressed conditions results in increase in mass losses from 04X16H11M3T steel specimens. The 04X16H11M3T steel can be used for operation with eutectic 17Li-83Pb at velocities up to 1.5 m/s and temperatures up to 627 K.
