The lack of knowledge of the managerial methodologies in the construction companies has produced that some of them do not properly develop the projects in all their groups of processes: start, planning, execution, monitoring and control and closing. For this reason and other factors such as bad accounting of the same and the high costs of taxation, companies have seen themselves affected at an economic and organizational level, having to take drastic measures such as their disappearing. Currently, businessmen don't know about managerial methods for the operation of their companies, ignoring useful methodologies to adequately run their projects. According to the Superintendence of Societies, one of the sectors with high figures of liquidation of companies is the construction. Right there, they report that some of the causes for the liquidation are “the failure or noncompliance of reorganization and restructuring, the abandonment of businesses, the direct request from the debtor or its creditors or court orders”. The construction sector covers many aspects that are relevant and that are very important for the company to function properly. According to “the data of Confecamaras, which includes all the chambers of commerce of the country, there are, approximately, 1,500,000 micro, small and medium enterprises in the Business and Social Single Register - RUES. This figure includes individuals and legal persons. Therefore, there is a need to formulate a management method that allows SMEs in the construction sector to carry out their activities in an appropriate manner, using as a reference the start-up and planning processes of the PMBOK guide in its 6th edition. The formulation of the management method based on the PMBOK guide will be done through the preparation of formats and monitoring of activity schedules that could probably solve the managerial problems identified in design and construction companies classified as SMEs. |
