Popis:	A modified transconjunctival approach to correct acquired ptosis is described. The aponeurosis is exposed via a vertical incision of the conjunctiva and longitudinal division of Muller's muscle, preserving its nervous and vascular supply. For easier adjustment, the central suture is placed at a higher level than the medial and lateral sutures and can be released postoperatively.
