Popis: | The purpose of this study is to report the case of a male patient, 22 years old, complaining of increased volume and left submandibular cervical. During anamnesis he reported being a victim of aggression by firearm projectile about 6 months ago. Physical examination showed submandibular and left cervical tumor, hardened and painful when palpated, without intraoral involvement. Imaging examinations suggested injury associated with mixed aspect foreign body. An aspiration was performed with coloring similar to this content straw. The surgery was performed under general anesthesia and left submandibular access was selected. Marsupialization as definitive treatment of the cyst as well as the removal of the associated projectile were performed. The anatomopathological report was compatible with inflammatory cyst associated with foreign body. The patient is here being followed up in an outpatient clinic, with 1 year of control and no signs of recurrence of the lesion. |
