Popis: Since the thermal dissipation and the electromagnetic radiation is the complicated phenomena, it is considered as the field of practical engineering topic. In reality, intuitive or "symptomatic" approaches may be considered as the sufficient choice since those problems can be easily solved with the patches without knowing the cause-effect relations. Needless to say, an analytical and theoretical methodology which conducts to maintain the prospects of the countermeasures to the problem can avoid trial and error. If the situation is so complicated, the combination of the CAE analysis and the experiment is always thought to be the best choice. In this paper, we would describe how to treat those problems through the practical case study of the actual 10Gigabit/s optical transceiver development. The real challenge of those approach is to manage the heat conduction against its limited size comparing to the heat dissipation, and to minimize the leakage of electro-magnetic noise. We propose the basic direction for the design improvement utilizing the CAE technology and the experiment to show the correlation of the results.
