The separation of hydrogen isotopes and impurities at annular core outlet can be achieved by means of a Pd-Ag permeator. The purpose of this document is to report the main findings from a study conducted in collaboration between CEN/VALDUC and CEN/CADARACHE: the main objectives of the study were to determine the efficiency of the module, as a function of the operating conditions, and to set up the mathematic simulation model. On completion of this study, the module was qualified and the code validated. |
