Popis: | 32nd European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition; 598-601 In this work, we present promising simple method for a modification of optical response in c-Si solar cells. In this approach the spectral dependence of the optical reflectance is intentionally changed by strictly controlled electrochemical etching of the surfaces. It is demonstrated that the etching produces a layer with randomly ordered silicon nanowires (SiNW) that changes the optical response of the surface. The change in the reflectance spectrum depends on the dimensions of the SiNWs that are intentionally tuned by controlling the conditions of the etching. Our experimental results demonstrate that a maximum appears in the reflectance spectrum of c-Si surface with the SiNW in the interval of the visible wavelengths. The position of the maximum depends on the length of the SiNW and can be varied within entire interval of the visible light. We describe the relationships between the etching conditions, the properties of the SiNW layer and the optical response in this report. The technological parameters that produce the most significant effect on the dimensions of the SiNW and the reflectance are identified. |
