The condensation products of rhodanine and some of its derivatives with various formylphenoxyacetic acids have been examined with a view to obtaining compounds with potential systemic fungicidal or growth-regulatory activity. The condensations between the rhodanines and the aldehydes were carried out in acid media and colored crystalline products were obtained in reasonable yield. |
