Comparative investigation of steels 15GB and 15GAF after normalization and temper hardening

Popis: 1. After normalization steels 15GB and 15GAF have similar mechanical properties (σu, σy, δ, ψ,al) but different resistance to developing rupture, which is much greater in steel 15GB than in steel 15GAF. 2. The effect of temper hardening on the properties of the steels is not the same. Temper hardening of steel 15GB leads to a slight increase of strength properties and a great increase of resistance to developing rupture. Conversely, temper hardening of steel 15GAF increases the strength properties considerably but has no effect on toughness and resistance to developing rupture.
