Popis: | Surface alloying of aluminum alloys by means of laser heating is considered. The surface hardness of aluminum increases to 5000–7000 MPa on alloying with pure metals and to 6500–8000 MPa on alloying with chemical compounds. The wear resistance of the surface layer is increased by a factor of 4–5 on alloying. |
