Popis: The uptake and translocation of 10B by radish plants (Raphanus sativus) were determined 48 hours and 12 days after a foliar application of boron (B) in the form of four different 10B enriched products: boric acid, borax decahydrate, high-solubility concentrate of sodium borate (Solubor) and an organic solution containing B (Cultibor). No significant effect of the type of product was found on the B uptake which reached about 10% of the applied amount after 48 hours but only 12.2% after 12 days. The 10B translocation to non-treated parts including aerial parts and roots, increased by a factor 3 to 6 between the two intervals according to the type of product. A greater amount of 10B was translocated 48 hours after foliar application when it was applied as Solubor. Moreover, results showed generally a better homogeneity of re-translocation with Solubor than other B products. In spite of this effect on translocation the source of B fertilizer had a relatively limited effect on the availability of foliar applied B.
