Popis: | An ultra-high-voltage converter rated at 500kV-1200A has been developed for HVDC transmission, a key technology for enhancing operability of electric power systems, a basic infrastructure of the sustainable society. The paper introduces the development of test methods for HVDC converter, the ultra-high voltage power electronics. One is for insulation test performed in the high voltage laboratory and the other is for open line test at site. The converter insulation test was performed successfully with the developed test method. The test method developed for open line test was proven to be feasible by the simulator tests. |
