Popis: | Gewald reaction of 4-oxo-1-phenylcyclohexane-1-carbonitrile with ethyl cyanoacetate and elemental sulfur in the presence of diethylamine afforded ethyl 2-amino-6-cyano-6-phenyl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-1-benzothiophene-3-carboxylate which was treated with a series of acid chlorides to obtain the corresponding 2-amido derivatives. Condensation of the latter with hydrazine hydrate gave new fused benzothienopyrimidines. The synthesized compounds were screened for antioxidant activity. |
