Popis: | In order to investigate the existence and effect of broad, 'two-particle-one-hole' resonance structure in low-energy electron scattering from the Fe-peak ion Ni V, the parallel R-matrix computer package, PRMAT, has been employed to evaluate the collision strengths for a number of transitions and collision symmetries, using three different models. Comparison of the data from these models confirms the existence of these resonance features, and the importance of including in the model the target states with which they are associated. |
