Popis: | The halogenated graphene as a new family of graphene materials has received great attention owing to its outstanding properties. In this study, the simultaneous fluorination and exfoliation of graphite using a simple electrochemical method were investigated. The different mixtures of sulfuric acid and hydrofluoric acid (5, 10, 20, and 40 wt%) were used as the electrolytes for the anodic type of electrochemical process. The prepared powders were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), Raman spectroscopy and Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. Results indicated that the presence of different concentrations of HF in solutions had a significant effect on the morphology and structure of prepared graphene. XRD patterns and FESEM demonstrated that the degree of exfoliation of graphite had been decreased by increasing the concentration of HF solutions. |
