The global flow in the Chapman mechanism

Popis: The Chapman mechanism is the simplest photochemical mechanism to understand the formation of ozone in stratospheric conditions. In this paper we apply the Poincare compactification to the dynamical system generated by the above mechanism. We analyze the critical points both in the finite part and at infinity, and find the heteroclinic connections among them, getting in this way a complete qualitative analysis of the global flow.
