Popis:	Both vascular and nerval development are triggered physiologically by similar signals in order to maintain neurovascular supply to the different organ systems. During the development of pancreatic carcinomas, on the other hand, numerous new blood vessels and nerves emerge. As speculated recently, the Notch-Pathway (Notch-1/4, Jagged-1/2, Delta-1/2) plays an important role in this process.
