Simultaneous analysis of the ν2, ν3, ν5, and ν6 infrared bands of CD3F

Popis: | The infrared spectrum of CD3F from 800 to 1220 cm−1 measured with resolution of about 0.0045 cm−1 has been analyzed using a model which treats the four fundamentals ν2(A1), ν3(A1), ν5(E), and ν6(E) simultaneously. Sixty‐two parameters were refined in a least squares fit of microwave data and over 4200 upper state energy levels with J′≤40 obtained from the infrared spectrum. The rms deviation of the infrared data was 0.706×10−3 cm−1. Due to strong vibration‐rotation resonances many normally ‘‘forbidden’’ infrared transitions have been observed which has allowed us to determine the ground state constants A0 and DK0 with high accuracy. The energy levels in many of the observed submillimeter‐wave laser lines of CD3F can now be identified. |
