Popis: | The potential possibility for searching for and fore casting of the hydrocarbon (HC) deposits using the results of the geochemical surveys of the nearbottom water layer and bottom deposits is determined by the subvertical migration of the hydrocarbon fluids and the resulting secondary geochemical anomalies. Anomalies are formed by the higher above background concentrations of HCGs including methane with an enhanced heavy carbon isotope content, methane homologs (in some cases with a high content of the butyric acid fraction in bitumens), fields with increased numbers of hydrocarbon oxidizing microor ganisms, a high content of ferrous and copper sulfides, etc. (1, 2). The peripheril part of the anomaly is char acterized by increased concentrations of carbon diox ide and hydrogen. Different combinations of helium and methane are characteristic features of the mani festation of the fluidconducting zones of the faults with displacements (3). |
