The efficiency of scale is an often-mentioned barrier to more effective use of genetic diversity in farming: RADIANT will deliver knowledge and true- or full-cost accounting on the availability and capacity of smaller producing and processing units. In collaboration with the recently approved FOX-Food Processing in a Box project, local processing modules will be showcased at selected AURORA Farms, bringing small-batch technological units (mild processing and preservation) to the farm gate. |
