Bilocular epidermoid cyst of the uvula in an infant: report of a case

Popis:	We report a rare case of bilocular epidermoid cyst occurring in the uvula of an 11-month-old male infant.The patient previously visited a pediatric clinic because of a common cold, and a tumorous mass of the uvula was pointed out. He was referred to our clinic.Clinical examination revealed a yellow-white, bilocular lesion of the uvula, with each lobe measuring about 6×5mm. There was no problem with movement of the uvula.The clinical diagnosis was a benign tumor, and the lesion was excised under general anesthesia. Histologically, the lesion contained two cysts enclosed by the membrane of the uvula. It was diagnosed to be an epidermoid cyst.
