Popis: | The oscillations of free supersonic jets are simulated using the axisymmetric Euler equation model. A third order accurate through difference scheme with artificial viscosity is used. Jet flows from a sonic nozzle with nozzle-to-ambient pressure ratio between 1.2 and 2 are investigated. The numerical results are compared with physical experiments. |
