Popis: | This article addresses major leadership theories as well as various definitions of leadership. It highlights the dichotomy between theory and practice and strives to provide a guide for the practitioner who is interested in enhancing personal leadership skills or developing those skills in others. The article concludes with the caution that since leaders shoulder much responsibility, one should determine personal needs before embarking on a leadership career goal that might produce unwanted stress. |
