Popis: | This article aims to find an optimal FEC assignment scheme for scalable video transmission over burst error channel with loss rate feedback. In order to apply the loss rate feedback information to further enhance the received video quality, an iterative algorithm has been derived to calculate a new loss probability function, which is conditioned on the past loss rates. In addition, both the complete and the efficient versions of the analytical models about FEC performance in scalable video stream are formulated in this work. Simulation results reveal that our transmission scheme can react to the worse channel condition with less and smoother quality degradation. |
