| Popis: | o,p′-DDD is a more potent inhibitor of the human placental 17β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase than any of the structural analogs, non-steroidal estrogens or anti-estrogens that have been examined. This inhibition is competitive with respect to 17β-estradiol. Both o,p′-DDD and diethylstilbesterol compete for the same binding site. (Endocrinology 89: 1407, 1971) |
