Idiopathic retinal vasculitis, aneurysms, and neuroretinitis (IRVAN) syndrome is a rare condition that can present with retinal vasculitis, aneurysmal dilatation at arterial bifurcations, neuroretinitis, capillary nonperfusion areas, retinal neovascularization, and macular exudation. A systemic workup should be ordered according to a complete review of systems. There is little consensus with regard to management of this disease. However, prompt treatment is important to prevent complications. |
