Popis: In the era of pervasive computing, virtualization is best adaptable technology to improve resource utilization, and simplify huge data set management. With global connectivity, the need is to manage volumes of information transaction at a very faster rate. In this regard, server virtualization is a great technology contribution having been realized. Embedded systems on the other do not enjoy a generous set of resources. Thus virtualization in this domain could be realized only with the addition of supporting features in processor technology. However a comprehensive, full proof virtualized model has not yet been developed, although many open source virtualized systems have claimed the contrary. In this work, Code Zero hypervisor has been evaluated corelating the kernel source code with the microkernel L4 APIs and thoroughly verified the performance of the ARM related implementations for embedded platforms by implementing POSIX functions.
