Validation of Estimated Energy Losses of PV-Systems Due to Seasonal Shading

Popis:	25th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition / 5th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion, 6-10 September 2010, Valencia, Spain; 4740-4743 Long-term measurements of a 50-kWp PV-system are used to investigate and to quantify different shading effects, which have an impact on the normal operation of the system during the seasons. The measurements are compared to data measured on a shading free reference test field and simulation results obtained from an image processing method. The results are used to validate the simulation results. Furthermore it will be shown that the image processing method is suitable for a shading analysis capable of determining the best location in partly shaded areas and the way of wiring the strings.
