Popis: Driving in cast impairs driving ability. We surveyed driving behaviour of orthopaedic trauma patients. Fifteen percent admitted that they drove while in cast. In a national context, this would mean that over 500 people drive every year on Irish roads while still wearing a forearm or below knee cast. In reality, this is probably a gross underestimation.
