Popis: | Reduction of spurious wave conversion in irregular sections of an opencylindrical resonator is studied. The relative power level of extraneous waves at the output of a resonator with a sinusoidally varying radius is considered. It is shown that improvement in radiation purity is possible through optimization of the output waveguide junction profile. |
