Popis: Synopsis Cultivation of fall armyworm ovary cells infected with the baculovirus Autographa californica in the NASA Rotating-Wall Vessel resulted in a 2- to 7-fold improvement in yield of recombinant β-galactosidase over that achieved in shaker flasks. The enhanced yield can be attributed to greater cell concentrations and intrinsic changes in cellutar function caused by reduced hydrodynamic forces in the NASA vessel.
