Popis: | 71% of the earth surface is covered by water. Out of which 97% of the water is found in the oceans and approximately 3% is available as fresh water. This accessible fresh water is polluted by different types of soluble and insoluble materials. One of the soluble materials is heavy metal ions. Both the substances can be separated by different methods at different rate. In this study, we assessing the capability of nano SnO2, ZnO, and its composite for the removal of dissolved heavy metal ions through adsorption. Also optimum adsorption conditions were determined with respect to pH, adsorbent dose, contact time, and temperature. The nano materials were prepared by green method. The techniques XRD, FTIR, SEM, and TEM were used for their characterization. |
