The Active Oxygen Species in Oxidative Coupling of Methane Over Li/CaO and Na/CaO USING N2O and O2 as Oxidants

Popis: The reactivity of N2O and O2 in the methane conversion has been studied over Li/CaO and Na/CaO catalysts in the field of solid solution (with a low amount of alkali promoter (2.5 at. %). It was found that the replacement of O2 by N2O causes the increase in formation rate of C2H6 and sharp decrease of the rate of CH4 conversion to CO. The concentration of Fe3+ impurity ions in doped CaO was shown to influence on activity of used catalysts in the presence of different oxidants (N2O or O2). The conception of oxidant (O2 or N2O) activation over different centers of studied catalysts was proposed.
