Popis: | There is a need to educate minority women on prevention and management of risk factors that lead to cardiovascular disease (CVD0. Black women have the highest prevalence of CVD. Hypertension, diabetes, overweight/obesity, smoking, and hyperlipidemia have shown some correlation to the prevalence of CVD among minorities. Therefore, implementing strategies to increase awareness, and to prevent and manage CVD risk factors is vital. |
