Popis:	The article investigates the problem of spelling competence of future primary school teachers. It is substanti-ated that spelling competence is an important component of linguistic competence. As a result of the research it was determined that the level of language training of the future teacher meets the modern demands of society. The pedagogical conditions of formation of spelling competence of future primary school teachers in the conditions of modern educational process of higher educational institution are outlined.
