The paper describes an approach to designing a fluorescent multiprobe array to detect the presence of heavy metals (HM) in the solutions. As a result of the selection of sensors the fluorescent probes — xanthene dyes, acridine and thiazine series have been selected to collect the array. Variations of the maximum values of probe fluorescence intensity have been employed as the analytical parameters to be sensitive to analyte's addition into solution. The fluorescent sensors were excited by both S 0 →S 1 and S 0 →S 2 transitions. The responses of each sensor of the array versus different HMs are varied that allows the system to generate specific vector signals to each test substance. According to the obtained results the selective recognition of the received vector signal has been carried out by the principal component analysis and good recognition of test HM substances in solution has been achieved. Thus, a possibility to apply the proposed fluorescent multiprobe array for selective identification of HM salts in solution has been shown. |
