The Knowledge, Attitude and Perception regarding Covid-19 Vaccination among Mothers

Popis: Background - A research study was conducted on knowledge, attitude and perception of mothers regarding civd19 vaccination from selected areas of Kottayam district, Kerala. A non experimental descriptive. Research design - Research design was used in this study. Sixty mothers between the age group of forty-five years to sixty years were selected using convenient sampling technique. A pilot study was conducted and feasibility of the study was established. Data collection - Data collection for the main study was carried out after acquiring formal approval concerned authority. The tool - The tool used for the process of data collection was knowledge questionnaire, attitude scale and perception questionnaire. The final data was tabulated and analyzed based on the objectives of the study, using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Result - The result shows that 86.70% had good level of knowledge, 50% had good level of attitude and 66.75% of subjects had good level of perception towards covid19 vaccination. Ages of mothers were associated with knowledge at 0.05 level significance. There is a correlation between knowledge, attitude and perception at 0.05 level of significance.
