Popis: | Higher efficiency of traction drive system with induction motor (IM) is necessary in low cost EV application. To lower the overall losses in Voltage Source Inverter (VSI), the dynamic DC-bus voltage adjustment scheme will be mainly proposed in this paper. It simply requires only additional controlled dc power supply to the existing system for adjustable DC-bus voltage of VSI. Both simulation and experimental results are provided in order to fully validate the proposed system. The promising results of higher efficiencies over a wide speed range can be obtained. |
